Now on Air: Behind the Facades of Vienna City Hall

12th of April on ORF: A Deep Look into Vienna’s City Hall

Over the course of two years, we filmed in every corner of Vienna’s monumental City Hall – from the cellars to the attic, from the scaffolding high above the Ringstraße to the installation of photovoltaic panels on the rooftop.

With rare access, we captured moments behind the scenes that reveal not only the architectural brilliance of Friedrich Schmidt’s vision but also the daily work of dozens of specialists who keep this building running: caretakers, restorers, engineers, and more.

Our team worked in close collaboration with Mayor Michael Ludwig and President Viennese Chamber of Commerce Walter Ruck, whose support and insights helped bring this project to life.
